GeeWizz Charity has donated £2,000 for 7-year-old Alexia Sinclair, who sadly suffers from Quadriplegic Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and Global Development Delay.  The funds will help support the day-to-day running of the hydrotherapy pool. Last year, Milsoms Charity Fashion show also earmarked for Alexia, to ensure she could use the family hydrotherapy regularly, which she has done throughout the last year.

Alexia has very limited mobility and can have seizures, meaning she requires 24/7 care and support. The hydrotherapy pool helps aid Alexia’s physiotherapy, development by reducing Alexia’s pain & building her strength, coordination.

Emily & Toby Sinclair fundraised to install a hydrotherapy pool at their home for Alexia and hope attend more intense swim therapy courses, which helps them learn how to perform physiotherapy effectively in the water with Alexia.

Alexia’s mum Emily, says, “The hydrotherapy pool helps Alexia muscles relax and stretch, we can see the benefits every day, especially as she is growing. The water helps increases her balance, strength & coordination. It also provides Alexia with variety to physio on dry land, which comes with the weight bearing. We are so thankful to GeeWizz, they really are heroes.”
